GUITHARE project was started in 2004 in order to create a pre- and post-processing user interface for CATHARE.
CATHARE is a thermal-hydraulic NS (Numerical Simulation) code working at the system scale mainly for nuclear power plant simulation. It is a shared product by CEA, EDF, AREVA-NP and IRSN.
GUITHARE (Graphic User Interface for CATHARE) supports all versions of CATHARE from the V2.5 family, V2.5_1 and V2.5_2.
GUITHARE is implemented as an individual application but inherits the general architecture of a SALOME light module and a general SALOME compilation and configuration mechanism.
