How to generate/build OCC only with /src directory
Devalkeneer2009/06/29 10:35
Hello everybody,

Is there any way to compile OCC 6.3 only from the /src directory. Basically it should be possible since /drv and /inc directories are data "generated" by the wok from cdl files. But I do not understand how I can run the file "generation". Is there anybody to help me please?

Best Regards,
Arnaud.

Hello Arnaud,

Certainly. You can use WOK for that. WOK will use ./adm/UDLIST and ./src contents to build entire OCC. The install and build instructions are given in the documentation (Building OCC modules or so in .chm). Be ready that it can be challenging.

But why would you want to do this ? What's wrong with reusing MSVS project files or autoconf/automake files ?

Roman
