- Maintenance releases (X.Y.Z) deliver regular modifications introduced in the frames of the routine development activity,
- Minor releases (X.Y.0) denote reaching certain level of modifications accumulated within several maintenance releases,
- Major releases (X.0.0) denote significant amount of improvements and new features accumulated during certain period.
