Starting from version 6.3 Open CASCADE Technology can be installed with binaries precompiled by Visual C++ 7.1 using the Installation Procedure under Windows platform only.

Starting from Open CASCADE Technology 6.3 the source package of the Open CASCADE Technology (including documentation, source files of samples and a set of building procedures) is available for Unix and Windows platforms. The building tools are delivered in the form of Visual C++ Projects for Windows platform and a Makefile procedure for the Unix platform.
